TENANT RESPONSIBILITIES

Strictly No Smoking Indoors

  1. The property must be Cleaned and Vacated on the day of departure NO LATER THAN 10.00AM . The keys MUST be returned to the key safe lock at the front of the house.
  2. Any damage or breakages should be reported to our office and be replaced at the expense of the tenant. Please also notify us about any faults or difficulties.
  3. For weekly rentals or longer, your bin collection is on Thursday mornings. PLEASE ENSURE YOUR BIN IS LEFT OUT ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT READY FOR EARLY MORNING PICK UP ON COLLECTION DAY.
  4. A fee of $50.00 will be charged if we are called out after business hours to gain entry to the property, so please take care of your keys.
  5. PETS are permitted within the property’s secured boundary provided they are controlled and NOT permitted inside the dwelling UNLESS PREVIOUS ARRANGEMENTS MADE WITH OWNER. An unconditional $250 bond is applicable. They should have their bedding at the rear of the property. All dog poo is to be collected and disposed of in the dustbin using the plastic bags provided. Thank you for your co-operation.
  6. It is a requirement for tenants to leave the house and its surrounds in a clean and tidy condition as they found it. PLEASE REFER TO THE ATTACHMENT. Please pay particular attention to the STOVE/HOT PLATE, OVEN, BBQ, BATHROOM and REFRIGERATOR. Please ensure that all windows and blinds are locked/closed prior to departure.
  7. If staying at Flinders Nest where the outdoor heated spa has been used, it is expected to have it turned off and lid replaced on it securely prior to leaving the property at any time. This is a health and safety requirement.
  8. The house may be available all year round please contact the office for further information.

CLEANING REQUIREMENTS

Please find below a guide regarding the jobs tenants are expected to complete prior to vacating the premises:

  • Leave bedding neatly folded
  • Sweep floors
  • Wash dishes and put away in cupboards
  • Wipe over stove top/oven
  • Wipe over bench tops
  • Empty refrigerator of food stuffs
  • Clean BBQ
  • Spa to be turned off and cover replaced securely.
  • Put rubbish into outside wheelie bins & place out on roadside to be emptied on the appropriate day- at the present time it is Thursday collection.
  • Any dog hair or dogs “deposits around the property is to be cleaned up please

Check out time is 10AM sharp and you are required to return keys to safe lock at the front of the house.

Please ensure that the house is left in the same manner as you found it so that everyone else can enjoy it and hopefully you will come back and stay on another visit.
